miro / Pinnacle Video / Motion DC30x will work in Windows XP, Windows 2000
and Server 2003 with the new WDM-(Windows Driver Model)-driver.
This driver works also with Windows XP SP2 and is tested with Windows
Longhorn Build 4008 (future version of Windows XP).
Driver 1.3x or 1.41 or 1.42 or Beta2-Update will not work with XP/2003 and
must be deinstalled before!
If you use NTFS+W2k or XP there is no capture limit.
OpenDML-AVI-files will be created.
All miro DC30 are now miro DC30+ with the same features.
You can select standard "upper field first" and DV-compatible "lower field
first".
The driver support capture in NTSC, PAL, SECAM, PAL M, PAL N, PAL 60, NTSC
433
-sound capture will only work with separat soundcard or onboard-sound of
your mainboard.
The build-in soundpart of miro DC 30x will not work for sound-capture and
output,
but the connectors on Y-cable or the Bluebox can be used.
There are no problems with Audio/Video synchronisation known.
If you want capture audio with miroVideoDC30x, use driver 1.5 in Premiere
5.x or 6.x

DC30 will now work as webcam source.
For edit you can use every software that support MJPG-software-codecs.
-In Premiere (4.x,5.x,6.x,Pro) or Virtual Dub you can not capture with this
driver,
Premiere or Virtual Dub will not support Direct Show filter drivers ->
This is a problem of the capture software, not from driver!
If you want use miroDC30x for edit with Premiere or VD you must
capture with AMCAP or other supported capture software and than
use a software MJPG-CODEC, miroDC30-SoftwareMJPG-codec is included in
driver
Better driver for Premiere 5.x or 6.x is driver 1.5.
-Video Out works with Pinnacle Studio 7/8/9 or Ulead Video Studio 6/7 or
with
Premiere 5, 6, 6.5 (left Window, not timeline) and Microsoft Mediaplayer.
Also all software that use DirectShow-routines to Playback Video
will work with miro DC30x TV-Out (Steinberg Nuendo 2, ZoomPlayer,
Macromedia Director)
-DC30 can also output videofiles without MJPG-format like DivX-Avi's by
using a very fast PC!
The driver is contained in a easy to install setup-file with instructions.
The setup-file create a DC30plus-program-group, where you can find all
needed software for capture and additional patches.
